Check-in completed 60 mins before STD in Macau Airport
According to Macau International Airport's announcement, in order to fulfill the new security requirement of Hold Baggage Screening(HBS) process required by ICAO and local authority, the existing hardware and facilities at Macau International Airport have been modified and the new arrangement on the baggage screening will be put in place in the near future, which may produce queues at the new HBS area and require more time to have hold baggage checked before moving to the central security channels.
With the aim to keep the operator's on time performance, as well as passenger services and satisfaction, it is planned that all Airlines operating in Macau International Airport to close the check-in counter 60 minutes before schedule time of departure from 5 August 2019, including Tigerair Taiwan. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that all passengers who is going to fly with Tigerair Taiwan from Macau International Airport should arrive earlier in order to allow sufficient time for all formalities at the airport from 5 August 2019.
